Loyola Campus Master Plan

About The Project

Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois, has launched “Loyola Forward 2025,” a master planning process for its campus. It has engaged The Lakota Group, a land-use planning firm located in Chicago, to lead the effort.

Key elements of this campus master plan will address campus functionality, safety and security, access and circulation, traffic, parking, building form and massing, buffering and aesthetics.

The campus master planning effort will provide a variety of opportunities for public input and engagement throughout the process. The Loyola Academy community and local residents are invited and encouraged to participate in what Loyola Academy intends to be a true community dialogue. The Lakota Group hopes to present to the steering committee what it has heard through the public engagement process as well as some initial design concepts by the end of 2016, with further community outreach and refined design in the spring of 2017.

The Lakota Group is currently working with Loyola Academy, its staff and the surrounding community to inform concepts for the Campus Master Plan that will be presented to the public in the coming months.

Please check back regularly to review documents and drawings as they are developed during the process.

“Loyola Forward 2025 will look at the overall quality and character of the entire campus to create a clear, predictable and achievable direction for the school to meet the needs of its students now and into the future."
